Taxonomy Identification: Family Papilionidae. First named by Cramer, in 1775
Colour: A sexually dimorphic species. Male jet black with vivid apple green bars. The female topside (verso) is black with creamy yellow bars. Underside similar but paler.
Size: Wingspan 75-85 mm
