Taxonomy Identification: Family Papilionidae, First named by Linnaeus, in 1758.

Colour: Topside (recto) black with white and green patches. The (verso) undersides is similar but with extra red markings.

Size: Wingspan 70-80mm

Comments & Applications: A beautiful graphium species, commonly known as the Tailed Jay butterfly. Much used in the framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film industry
