Taxonomy Identification: Family Cerambycidae: Prioninae. was first named by Lameere in 1913
Colour: Reddish brown with raised striated lines on elytra.
Size: Length measuring from the tip of the head/jaw to the end of the abdomen (excluding legs and antenna) 35-45mm
Comments & Applications: A member of the Prioninae sub-family of wood boring beetles. One of the more unusual collectable species available. Also useful in framing, taxidermy domes, artwork, and educational applications.
Format: Unmounted, papered, requires relaxing and setting
