Taxonomy Identification: Family Ithomiidae, first named by Bates in 1862.
Colour: The wings are orange brown with black patches and yellow dashes at forewing tips. Hindwings more defined; black with with orange brown dashes.
Size: Wingspan 75-85mm
Comments & Applications: A neotropical species, seldom offered for sale. A butterfly for the serious connoisseur, also useful in high end applications where the customer is looking for something different from the norm.
