Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, first named by Cramer in 1777
Colour: Extremely variable colouration. Generic topside (recto) wings are cream-white with chocolate brown margin, some have yellow hindwings. The underside (verso) hindwings vary from pale cream to bright yellow, forewing white edged in chocolate brown which can be very faint in some examples.
Size: Wingspan 55-65mm
