Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Cramer in 1777.
Colour:
Topside (recto) base colour brown with darker blackish marbled patterning. The forewing recto has a vibrant orange bar The underside (verso) is a mix of intricate patterns and brown, the verso forewings have four pale blue spots ringed in black with an overall hint of blush pink.
Wingspan: 40-45mm
