Taxonomy Identification: Family, Riodinidae, First named by Fabricius 1777
Colour: The base colour of the topside (recto) wings is black with a single red bars on the forewing and a twin bar on the hind. The underside (verso) is shimmering iridescent blue with single red bar and small white spot.
Size: Wingspan 37-42mm
