Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae. First named by Boisduval, in 1836
Colour: A sexually dimorphic species. Male topside (recto) wings are yellow with bright orange wing tips and dark margin, hind-wing yellow with grey lattice patterns. The female topside (verso) forewings are white with a black spot, yellow-orange dashes ending in grey wing tip. The hind-wing is latticed in yellow and grey with small black marginal spots. The underside (verso) forewings are white with dark yellow wing tips, the hind-wing is latticed in dark yellow and green.
Size: Wingspan 36-46 mm
