Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Cramer in 1777
Colour: Sexually dimorphic, females topside (recto) wings are white with thick black margin. Female underside wings black, white and yellow. The male topside (recto) is more white with much thinner black margins while the underside (verso) hindwing is yellow, forewing white with black spot.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
