Taxonomy Identification: Family Noctuidae, Erebidae. First named by Fabricius in 1775
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are brown with cream lines, hindwings yellow with black spots. Underside wings (verso) similar but paler.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
Comments & Applications: An unusual tropical tiger moth. Always popular among collectors, perfect for display frames, domes, insect design art and craft applications.
