Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Brown in 1776.
Colour: A vivid black and white butterfly, some forms are black and orange. The underside wings are black, white and brown.
Size: Wingspan 55-65mm
Comments & Applications: Commonly called the Forest Glade Nymph butterfly. A nice collectors species and also useful for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.
