Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Hecq in 1987.
Colour: Dark brown with orange bar on forewing. The underside wings on both sexes is olive with a white bar and wing tip.
Size: Wingspan 60-85mm
Comments & Applications: A relatively recent discovery. Seldom offered for sale, a nice collectors species and also useful for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.
