Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Hewitson in 1866
Colour: Topside (recto) wings black with blue patches, and pale yellowish white bar on the forewing. The underside (verso) wings have a base colour of brown with white apex bar.
Size: Wingspan 90-100+mm
