Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Grose-Smith & Kirby in 1889
Colour: Topside (recto) wings black with metallic blue-gold patches, and marginal row of bright blue spots. Wing tips white. The underside (verso) base colour olive-buff with black margin and white wing tips.
Size: Wingspan 85-100mm
