Taxonomy Identification: Family Satyrinae, first named by Karsch in 1895
Colour: Brown with a pale cream-white forewing apex and single eyelet. The underside wings on both sexes is brown with single reddish brown line and eyelets.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
Comments & Applications: Commonly known as Bush Brown butterflies. This is a unusual collectors species and also useful for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.
