Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Stichel in 1901
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are dark brown with a broad orange bar and apex patch. The underside (verso) is a mixture of browns with silvery white, black and large area of pale orange-yellow.
Size: Wingspan 70-75mm
