Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Doumet in 1861
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are a beautiful dark blue with lighter blue patches. Underside (verso) is coloured a pale silvery brown with additional fine pencil black lines and eye spots.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
