Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Felder in 1867.
Colour: Topside (recto) wings are golden copper orange with black forewing tips and black marginal border on hind-wing. Underside (verso) is a similar golden ochre with intricate pencil black-white patterns and silvery hue.
Size: Wingspan 75-80mm
Comments & Applications: Commonly known as the Double Eye-spoitted Rajah butterfly. Not often offered for sale. Useful in trade applications for butterfly framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film
