Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Butler in 1874.

Colour: Topside (recto)A Black blue butterfly with pale blue and white spots.  This species has short double tails. Underside (verso) beautifully patterned in light brown dark brown with black.

Size: Wingspan 75-85mm
