Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Westwood 1848

Colour: A sexually dimorphic species, the topside wings on the male butterfly are orange-brown with black border on fore-wings and a row of black spots on hind-wings. Extremely variable patterns and colours.
