Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Grose-Smith in 1883.
Colour: Topside (recto)A Blackish with a blue band and spots. This species has no tails. Underside (verso) beautifully patterned in different shades of brown.
Size: Wingspan 55-65mm
