Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Van Someren & Jackson, 1952
Colour: (Topside) Wings have a base colour of black with two blue marginal spots, hindwings edged in white/blue spots. Underside wings are purple-clay coloured; extremely variable patterns.
Size: Wingspan 55-65mm
