Taxonomy Identification: Family Buprestidae, first named by Kerremans in 1893
Colour: Elytra bared in green, dark blue and cream. Head blue with iridescent purple.
Size: Length of beetle measuring from tip of jaw to the end of abdomen is 34-40mm (excludes legs and antenna).
Comments & Applications: One of the most beautiful jewel beetles available, seldom offered for sale. One for the serious connoisseur. Useful in high end bespoke curation applications.
