Taxonomy Identification: Family Geometridae > Ennominae. First named by Warren in 1894.
Colour: The topside (recto) forewings are greyish black with a white patch on the forewing and small white patch on hindwing and whiteish marginal line. Underside wings (verso) similar but paler.
Size: Wingspan 38-45mm
Comments & Applications: This is a small attractive moth, seldom offered for sale, so a popular species with collectors, also useful in the insect trade, for design applications, entomology, craft, taxidermy.
