Taxonomy Identification: Family Mantidae, First named by Saussure in 1869
Colour: The forewing cover of this Mantid is pale brown to green with yellow/black bar. Hindwings are black with pinkish red bar along leading margin.
Size: Length measuring from the tip of the head to the end of the abdomen but excluding the legs and antenna: 28-40mm. Wingspan 40-50mm.
Comments & Applications: This is a small but very attractive flower Mantid not often offered for sale. Always popular among collectors and the ideal subject for artwork, photography, framing, interior design, film, entertainment or educational purposes
Format: Supplied Unmounted, papered, wings spread, on card backing (not glued) can be used for framing straight from packet or relax/rehydrate for new setting position.
