Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Butler in 1871
Colour: The male topside is brownish-orange or yellow with think black margin. Females butterflies are reddish brown, with various degrees of black markings and white bar on forewing. The underside of box sexes is yellowish-brown.
Size: Wingspan 60-75mm
