Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, frist named by Cramer in 1775
Colour: Orange brown topside (recto) with thick black edge to the wings. Forewings covered throughout in white spots. The underside (verso) is similar but with prominent black veins and additional white spots on the hind wings. Female generally darker brown and not as orange.
Size: Wingspan 80-85mm
