Taxonomy Identification: Family Pieridae, first named by Talbot in 1939
Colour: Wings topside (tecto) are white and black. The underside wings (verso) are black with red bar and yellow patch.
Size: Wingspan 50-65mm
Comments & Applications: One of the many delias species of butterfly this is a particular attractive butterfly and perfect for insect framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film. A rare subspecies from Babar seldom offered for sale. Common name black Jezebel.
