Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Felder in 1867
Colour: Topside (recto) wings blackish brown with iridescent turquoise-blue bars across all four wings. The underside (verso) is silvery-brown with additional black and orange makings on the verso forewing.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
