Taxonomy Identification: Family Heliconiinae, Named by Fabricius in 1775

Colour: Colouration topside (recto) surface layer of the wings is deep orange in colour with fainter black streaks near the forewing apex. The underside (verso) of the wings is shades of brown and grey.

Size: Wingspan 70-90mm
