Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Fabricius in 1775.

Colour: Topside (recto) The wings are a beautiful orange with brown markings. Males are slightly brighter.The underside (verso) is a mixture of browns.

Size: Wingspan 65-80mm
