Economy white setting boards made from high density polystyrene; these entry level boards are not as rigid as our styrofoam boards, but are nevertheless perfect for the beginner or high volume setting applications.
This board has been designed with an extra large central groove for large bodied insects such as Cicada, Katydid’s and Silk-moths. The width of the board is also larger than any currently on the market allowing for easy setting of specimens with a wingspan up to 300mm. The depth of the board has also been increased to 50mm in order to accept longer size 7 securing pins.
