Taxonomy Identification: Family Cetoniidae, First named by Kraatz, 1893
Colour: Base colour black with yellow “C” shaped markings on elytra.
Size: Length measuring from the head/jaw to the end of the abdomen, but excluding legs/antenna 14-18mm.
Comments & Applications: A beautiful flower beetle species, amazing eye catching colouration. Quite a rarity and not often offered for sale, one for the connoisseur. Also the ideal subject for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design, film and jewellery applications
