Description

Taxonomy Identification: Family Cetoniidae. Named by Kolbe 1901

Colour: Head and prothorax dark green. Elytra plum brown with four black spots in each corner.

Size: Overall length measuring from tip of head/jaw to the end of the abdomen, but excluding antenna and legs: Female 25-30mm.

Comments & Applications:  African flower beetle, nice plum coloured examples. Always popular with entomologists and collectors. The ideal subject for the arts and design industry, photography, film, entertainment and educational purposes.
