Taxonomy Identification: Family Cetoniidae. Named by MacLeay in 1838
Colour: Head and prothorax dark green. Elytra tan brown with four black spots in each corner.
Size: Overall length measuring from tip of head/jaw to the end of the abdomen, but excluding antenna and legs: Female 20-30mm.
Comments & Applications: African flower beetle, nice examples and always popular with entomologists and collectors. The ideal subject for the arts and design industry, photography, film, entertainment and educational purposes.
