Description

Colour: Forewings black with transparent patch toward thorax. Hindwings black with metallic green shimmer; pink in some specimens.

Size: Wingspan 55-60+mm

In some cases, a nylon rod is pushed through the thorax down into the abdomen to help secure the insect.
