Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Fabricius in 1775

Colour: (Topside) Black with vivid deep blue patches and yellow gold bar.  The underside of the wings are olive reddish brown with black spots and dashes and prominent white bar.

Size: Wingspan 70-80mm

Comments & Applications: A beautiful and seldom offered butterfly from Cameroon. Euphaedra are sought after collectors species and also popular for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.

Format: Unmounted, papered, wings folded, requires relaxing and setting
