Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Fabricius in 1775
Colour: (Topside) Black with vivid deep blue patches and yellow gold bar. The underside of the wings are olive reddish brown with black spots and dashes and prominent white bar.
Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
