Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Hecq in 1980
Colour: Topside (recto) wings black with large areas of reddish brown, and white bar on the forewing. The underside (verso) wings have a base colour of pale brown with lighter patches and various white spots edged in black. Wing apex ends in a white bar.
Size: Wingspan 80-90+mm
