Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Bartel in 1905

Colour: (Topside) Wings are dark blue/black with whiteish bars. The underside of the wings are olive green with black spots and white bar.

Size: Wingspan 70-85mm

Comments & Applications: A beautiful and rare butterfly from Central African Republic. Euphaedra are sought after collectors butterflies and also popular for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.
