Colour: Overall colouration blue-grey with black bars – highly variable between specimens
Size: Length from tip of snout to end of abdomen 20-30mm – excludes legs and antenna
Comments & Applications: This is a particularly unusual and attractive species from Kesui Island, part of the Maluku Province, Indonesia. Weevils are popular among the art and design industry. Used in framing, domes, artwork, photography, film and jewellery applications
