Colour: Overall colouration blue-grey with black bars – highly variable between specimens
Size: Length from tip of snout to end of abdomen 20-30mm – excludes legs and antenna
Comments & Applications: This is a particularly unusual and attractive species from Sorong, Southwest Papua, Indonesia. Weevils are popular among the art and design industry. Used in framing, domes, artwork, photography, film and jewellery applications
