Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Felder in 1867

Colour: Topside (recto) forewings of the male are blue with faint white markings. Unlike the male the female has only a faint blue patch on the forewing tips which is absent in some specimens and sub-species.

Size: Wingspan 70-80mm
