European Owl Moth (A.europea)

(Acanthobrahmaea europea) Hartig 1963. Wingspan 65-80mm. A rare silkmoth related species isolated to mountains ranges in southern Italy. We are pleased to make available captive bred livestock. Due for delivery April/May. Easy to rear on Privet (Ligustrum), or Ash (Fraxinus.). Larvae do not spin silk but pupate underground. Currently unavailable.
