Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Latreille in 1813.
Colour: Topside (recto) wings brownish black with vivid pink and sometimes blue striped forewing. The underside (verso) is a mixture of autumn brown colours for camouflage.
Size: Wingspan 50-60mm
