Taxonomy Identification: Family Ithomiidae, first named by Fox in 1941.
Colour: The wings black with large semi transparent white/yellow patches. Highly variable. Some specimens have white spotted margins.
Size: Wingspan 60-70mm
Comments & Applications: A neotropical species, seldom offered for sale. A butterfly for the serious connoisseur, also useful in high end applications where the customer is looking for something different from the norm.
