Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, first named by Boisduval in 1836

Colour: (Topside) dark brown-black with vivid ivory-white patches. The underside of the wings are black with pale greenish-blue patches

Size: Wingspan 60-70mm

Comments & Applications: A beautiful and seldom offered butterfly from Central African Republic; one for the serious collector. Can be used as high-end unique  species for framing, domes, artwork, photography, interior design and film.
