Taxonomy Identification: Family Mantidae, unknown species, possibly membranacea.
Colour: The body and legs of this Mantid are brown. The wings on the male are transparent with a green or brown lateral bar on the forewing. The female is coloured similar but with fuller greenish-yellow forewings and small cream dash on forewing.
Size: Length measuring from the tip of the head to the end of the abdomen but excluding the legs and antenna: Male 60-70mm, Female 70+mm. Wingspan 100-120mm. Supplied on card base with wings spread.
Comments & Applications: This is a very large tropical mantid from Thailand. Always popular among collectors and the ideal subject for artwork, photography, framing, interior design, film, entertainment or educational purposes
