Taxonomy Identification: Family Ithomiidae, first named by Salvin in 1869

Colour: The wings are black with semi transparent white patches. It has black margins with small white spots. Hint on yellow near wing centre.

Size: Wingspan 65-70mm

Comments & Applications: A neotropical species, seldom offered for sale. A butterfly for the serious connoisseur, also useful in high end applications where the customer is looking for something different from the norm.

Format: Unmounted, papered, wings folded, requires relaxing and setting
