Taxonomy Identification: Family Nymphalidae, First named by Fruhstorfer in 1912
Colour: Topside (recto) wings of the male are black with white patched and spotted margins and blue central bar across all four wings. The underside wings (verso) are blackish-brown with blueish white lines, spots and patches.
Size: Wingspan 75-80mm
