Taxonomy Identification: Family Ithomiidae, first named by Haensch in 1903

Colour: The wings are black with brown and yellow patches. Hindwings similar but with marginal row of white spots.

Size: Wingspan 65-75mm

Comments & Applications: A neotropical species, seldom offered for sale. A butterfly for the serious connoisseur, also useful in high end applications where the customer is looking for something different from the norm.
